DFH
Ribo-CarniClear®
Supersaturated Carnitine/Ribose Liquid
What is
it? L-Carnitine is a compound naturally
occuring in all foods, but significant amounts are only
found in dark meats. It supports fat transport in
the mitochondria, the energy powerhouses of your
muscles. Supplementation of L-carnitine increases
the efficiency of fat metabolism and reduces the chances
(or prolongs the time until), of becoming hypoglycemic,
or bonking. L-carnitine absorption is increased
when taken with phosphatidyl choline.
Ribose is bioavailable energy essential in cellular
energy metabolism, and it compliments L-carnitine.
Ribo-CarniClear® should be taken right before
exercise. Vitamins B5 & B12 are also included
to further complete the suite of fat metabolism
cofactors. It is not a stimulant.
What
does that mean for me? I can go farther on
less food without bonking. I am producing more
energy aerobically and depleting my glycogen stores at a
slower rate, therefore preserving crucial energy during
races. It also helps me burn more fat during
exercise & racing to get leaner. Try it...
it's noticeable the first long ride you take it
on. This helps, no question. |

DFH
Q-Avail
Co-enzyme Q10 Supplement
What is it?
CoQ10 is a nutrient that is essential for the body to
turn food into energy. Its role is similar to that
of a spark plug in a car engine. CoQ10 is a
nutrient that cyclists use plenty of, and it needs to be
replaced. CoQ10 is found in plant and animal
foods, but plentiful amounts cannot be achieved for the
elite athlete by those sources. CoQ10 is found in
organ meats, but few of us eat these foods
regularly. Supplementation is crucial. DFH's
CoQ10 is the most bioavailabe on the market. It
also support immune health.
What does that mean
for me? Optimization of energy
metabolism. Take it before exercise. Also
bolsters the immune system. Go faster, longer. |

DFH
Phosphatidyl
Choline
Dietary Supplement
What is it?
Phosphatidyl choline helps protect the liver against damage from alcohol, pollution, toxins, prescription and over the counter medication, mushroom poisoning, and radiation. Phosphatidyl choline (PC) is one of the most important nutrients to consume daily for optimal health.
As always, DFH's PC is among the most bioavailable in
the industry.
What does that mean
for me? It increases the absorption of the
very crucial L-Carnitine, and also protects the
liver. Ultimately: go faster, be healthier. |

DFH
N-Acetyl
Cysteine
Dietary Supplement
What is it?
N-Acetyl-Cysteine is an amino acid and a precursor to glutathione, the body’s most powerful antioxidant.
Antioxidants are critically important to recovery,
because hard training produces performance-reducing free
radicals in the body. NAC
is not present in any popular recovery mixes. As
always, DFH's NAC is among the most bioavailable in the
industry.
What does that mean
for me? Recover faster & fully.
Train harder. Be healthier. |

DFH
Stabilized
R-Lipoic Acid Supreme
Dietary Supplement
What is it?
Another
antioxidant, it fights free radicals in the body.
R-Lipoic Acid also is a cofactor in vital
energy-producing reactions in the body. How is Stabilized R-Lipoic Acid
different from other R-Lipoic products on the market? R-Lipoic Acid is a highly unstable compound that easily polymerizes into a sticky rubber or glue-like substance if it is not prepared, stored and processed
correctly- thus adversely affecting bioavailability.
DFH's form is stable, and the most bioavailable out
there.
What does that mean
for me? Recover faster & fully.
Train harder. Be healthier. Increased energy
efficiency. |

DFH
High
Gamma/Delta Vitamin E
Dietary Supplement
What is it?
A critical antioxidant that has virtually undisputed
workout recovery benefits. It is present in many
recovery mixes, but DFH's form is better. All natural, High Gamma/Delta Vitamin E is the most complete formulation of key vitamin E fractions offering high levels of gamma and delta tocopherol in addition to alpha tocopherol. Numerous studies point to the greater effectiveness of delta and gamma tocopherol fractions versus alpha tocopherol alone.
What does that mean
for me? Recover faster & fully.
Train harder. Be healthier. |

An
amazing true story about the powerful efficacy of DFH products - by
Ian Ayers
Our bodies are complex beyond our
comprehension. But, thanks to new discoveries and the ability to tie
knowledge together with technology, doctors are beginning to understand
the chemistry behind some terribly complex problems. I know a bike
racer who, as he aged toward 50, began to notice annoying decreases in
performance. Well, as everyone knows, at some point in our lifespan,
we won't be getting faster every year, even with good training. So,
this bike racer, who could be any of us, continued on for several years as
his performance declined. He figured that it was just what happened
when you get older. Most of us at that age would assume that.
But, the performance decreases were occurring
more sharply each year, and cycling caused burning pain in his legs during
normal riding. Following a 1 minute effort, it would take up 15
minutes to regain a normal sensation following a 1 minute effort. He
described a constant burn in his legs, even at a 150 watt steady effort,
that most would describe as "lactic acid burn." (even thought we
know it's not the lactic acid that causes that sensation, anyway)
Six years after noticing the first
annoying decrease in performance, the problem was becoming unmanageable
and prohibitive to enjoying cycling. So, he went and saw
doctors. Something was wrong. He saw dozens and dozens of
doctors who did all kinds of tests like blood tests, muscle biopsies,
nerve function tests, performance tests, you name it. None of them
found anything or could tell him what was wrong.
Then, he saw a different type of
doctor. A biochemist/nutritionist doctor whose knowledge of bodily
chemistry far surpassed standard doctors. After some very specific
tests, the doctor discovered gross imbalances & a lack of key
chemicals involved with energy metabolism. Nutrients that has been
depleted from years of hard exercise that slowly decreased when a healthy balanced
diet alone didn't replace them. It was a problem that manifested
itself over many years, and could only be described as "mitochondrial
impairment."
To cure this problem, the doctor
prescribed all-natural supplements. The supplements all needed to be
the most bioavailable so that the recovery would go as quickly as
possible. Topping the long list of supplements were: DFH Ribo-CarniClear®, DFH Q-Avail, DFH Phosphatidyl Choline, DFH Stabilized R-Lipoic Acid Supreme,
and DFH High Gamma/Delta Vitamin E. Also included were Magnesium
Taurate, Creatine, L-Citrulline, and some other natural antioxidants.
Months later, the patient has seen huge
performance improvements. A miracle cure.
Obviously, this story omits many details
and explanations about the problem and cure, but it illustrates one very
important truth...
Supplemented nutrients help
performance. This case illustrates a rare case of nutritional
deficiencies, but all of have deficiencies- even if they're small.
Even if we think we're eating the perfect balanced diet, we can never know
if we're deficient in a certain nutrient, which is causing a slight
decrease in performance. How do we know how much better we could
perform by taking a full host of supplements known to increase
performance? So many people are so quick to dismiss the idea of
supplementation. Cyclists should keep their body's nutritional
stores topped-off. This is a true story, and DFHs' products work
miracles.
